PLOTTING/CR MEME     Welcome to the cr meme, to both players new and old! This post is open to all players, so feel free to utilize it to build some new connections. This month, Refugees will be beamed down via teleporter in a spectacular display of light, seen by the natives as a blessing from Thesa. Veterans are encouraged to meet them at the landing site, where they'll have a celebratory overnight campout. Additionally, there seems to be a few strange side effects of the transport... After all the Refugees have gone through, however, this should be a piece of cake. The intro log will also introduce newbies (and reintroduce oldbies) to the businesses where they can be employed. ▶ Personality Blurb. a Soviet officer/spy that's part of/fighting a vast international conspiracy. his mom was considered a hero a la Captain America, and his dad had psychic powers he may or may not have inherited. for the most part, he's an affable enough guy when you meet him, knows a bunch of random wildlife facts, and really likes westerns. but, he does have an incredibly questionable moral compass, and isn't above throwing people under the bus (even those he claims to care about) for his own ends. if he doesn't like you, he's also liable to be incredibly vindictive, but he doesn't really have anyone among the refugees that he HATES. finally, he's been in love with the same guy for half his life, but he's up in stasis right now so he visits him daily on the Station when he can.
▶ Desired CR. more villain-type/morally grey figures that he can work with. I'm also always down for more friends and casual relationships. also, psychics that he can talk to would also be A+, and really... just fellow spies in general that he can be shady with. also he's a member of the guard in Olympia and involved in a bunch of shady shit so guard CR is always cool.
▶ Offered CR. a shady friend. a mentor-type, since one of his roles in canon was as a tactical instructor. someone to slowly but surely lead you down the road of Questionable Moral Choices.
▶ Rooming Plans. lives on his own in a nice enough apartment with his dog, DD (short for "Diamond Dog"... he's a dog/wolf that can gather herbs and shank people with a knife because Metal Gear is one of Those Games). he isn't actively seeking out people to live with, but if you want to, let me know!
▶ Game Plans. having been one of the people kidnapped last month, Ocelot is... pretty mad about the whole thing, and when the opportunity arises, won't be beyond trying to actively punish anyone connected to the whole ordeal. he will also be continuing to balance all his different alignments, having worked for both Cree and Voss and taking full advantage of his status as a "hero". I still would also like to better establish a PC network of spies or something along those lines.

She's essentially a vampire queen who is forever a teen and has 0 sense of right or wrong. She gets hungry pretty easy, is pretty childish, has fits, an enchanting (literally) beautiful voice and is overwhelmingly stronk. She's basically like an unsocialized, wild animal who is finding herself with a bit more freedom than she knows what to do with. Luckily she has her wrangler Solomon with her...but uh...apologies in advance if anyone comes across her eating a dude in the Red Light district.

She loves attention, craves it actually, and has been going out of her way lately to get it. She's also hilariously ridiculous, much to the annoyance of those she's around. She's been TRYING to be good and not murder so much (mainly because people keep feeding her willingly) but sometimes when you're hangry you make mistakes.

Honestly I'm down for anything! Diva is an incredibly wild girl, and so I'm looking for both Positive and Negative CR...the latter probably being inevitable considering her nature. I'd love for her to have people try and teach her right from wrong, people who want to become fam to her and people who are willing to be living, breathing blood banks. I would love to have her get to use her musical talent (ahem, voice) and maybe sing for others/make money off it. I'd also love to...have her get into fights...because she's fighty. Your typical shounen lecture won't work on her so...yeah.

I'd also love to have her learn about things, because she is pretty deprived when it comes to general knowledge about the world and things in general. Even her ability to read/write is like grade school tier.

Also I'd love for her to interact with other vampires/non-humans because it'd be fun, I'm sure.

She also breaks into/raids JJ's and Atsushi's fridges sometimes so if anyone has CR with either it'd be very easy for them to run into each other...

Constantly at odds with his own identity, not really certain who he actually is from a personal point of view. Smiles and laughs at all the wrong things to make certain that people don’t see how full of self-loathing and doubt he actually is, but it shows through. He’s not an easy person to get along with and his mental state isn’t so hot right now, but it can be done and has been done! He’s actually quite a sensitive person despite the walls he puts up, but not necessarily friendly.
▶ Desired CR. All the CR, as always. Maybe more friends this time around, though he tries so hard to push people away. It’s a chore to befriend him, but I plan to canon update him next month and he’s going to need it.

Also, people he can instantly hate and begin petty fights with? He loves a good verbal snipe. He will give you a bad nickname and never let it go.

He's a brooder and sometimes pessimistic, but has been in better spirits lately. He's a family person and if you are included in his circle, he is extremely protective of you. He's close to his direwolf especially and is known to be an expert swordsman. He doesn't get angry easily, but can be provoked with the right incentive (particularly harm to his family.) Honor and honesty drive his life, sometimes for good and bad.
▶ Desired CR. Any! Negative or positve. Negative is a bit difficult to achieve, unless you make efforts to harm him or family. He especially needs friends to go on adventures with, as well as people to seek advice from and actually open up to. I wouldn't mind a few enemies either. What is life without a few rivals? Since he is looking to move to Wyver, I'd really love to develop some friendships for him there, especially as he struggles to make a life for himself.
▶ Offered CR. I can offer anything. Like I mentioned above, Jon is difficult to get negative CR with, unless your character is someone who dislikes honorable men. Definitely friends is offered, you're welcome to flirt with him, but he's generally oblivious to that, so he might not reciprocate.

▶ Game Plans. Jon's currently going through a personal crisis of faith. The recent events with the guards and Olympia have rattled him. Losing Ned to stasis has also reminded him how easily people can disappear and return to sleep. So now he is focusing less on duty and honor and more on what he feels matters, which are the people he cares about. He's going to move to Wyver and stay with Daenerys, trying to build a life for himself. He won't know what to do with himself, which will leave him more confused and lost. I plan for him to have some adventures and find his footing again. Beyond that, I'm open for anything!

▶ Personality Blurb. Area scientist is learning how to feel things? It's weird. Rosalind is firmly in the cynical and realist camp, but six months without her counterpart and having to learn how to be social means she's at least learning how to make friends. Still, she's stiff and reserved, and it takes a lot before she'll admit something is fun. Oh, and while usually hella prideful, she's going through some character evolution right now, so trying to understand other people and how they work (it's a mystery) (we just don't know).
▶ Desired CR. As always, I'm down for anything! I'd like for her to make a few more close connections, as well as people she starts to care about in a distant, aunt-ish sort of way. Rivalries are always loved, especially when it's someone she can constantly compete and go up against, and people who will argue against her (give me those shonen protags, yo, let's talk about idealism versus cynicism).

I'd also love her to get to know more supernatural people; anyone who is different in some way is bound to catch her attention.
▶ Offered CR. Vodka aunt, obviously. That one lady who is firmly authoritative and stubborn and lecturing. Teaching, sh does enjoy that when the student is eager, and she's more than smart enough to master most subjects (beyond, like, language arts, fuck that arts nonsense). She also is both alive and dead at once, and has a host of magic abilities she insists are scientific, so I'd love for her to either mentor or just chat with other supernatural people, or people who aren't quite alive or what have you.

She also has a shop now, if anyone wants to come work there!
▶ Game Plans. Rosalind is, for now, living in Olympia, but she's trying like hell to play both sides (mostly because why should she choose??). She visits Wyver about once a month (though not in the past two months, it's been Rough), and goes up to the station at least three times a week. She's distrusting of the Natha, as well as the authorities in both Wyver and Olympia, but that doesn't mean she isn't eager to try and grab power when she sees it.

He's also somewhat skeptical about/suspicious of the Natha, given his experiences with other crazy shit, but that's kind of a backburner tinfoil hat thing. I'd like to get him more involved in pushing towards a cease-fire and transparency, and refugees influencing natives towards asking for more from their leaders. He'll probably be attending the thing for refugees who were recognized for their involvement in the kidnapping plot, though he's 1701% sure something bad is going to happen. :|

He's really friendly and agreeable if you're nice to him, but a complete asshole if you're not. He's also got a spirit inside his head that makes him a bit of a confrontational, self-righteous jerk when people don't agree with him. Overall, he's just a really complex dude.

Mai is pretty well known for being the apathetic goth-type in ATLA. It's been about four years since the original series and in that time, Mai has changed some. She's still got a biting sense of dry sarcasm and is more prone to smirks than smiles but her edges have softened a little. She's grown more affectionate with her baby brother Tom-Tom, she shows honest to goodness emotions now and then and when it comes to affairs of the heart, she's become a little more bitter and closed off.

Despite her apathetic nature and her sharp tongue though, Mai is a good friend to have if you need someone to watch your back... if you treat her right anyhow.

Following the kidnappings and their aftermath, Mai has shed her preoccupation with not bonding with or taking interest in this world and those around her. Now that she's realized she can't just stand on the outside and not care to what goes on in the society around her, Mai's taking something of a stand. She's not about to let this be a completely harsh and warring world if any of her loved ones sleeping on the station wake. To that end she's joined the Knightryders following all of this. She'll also be seeking more hand to hand combat training and swordplay training. She doesn't want to be caught off guard again like she was this time.

She still works at the Fields of the Exalted and secretly for The Gilded Cage as well. I hope to eventually have enough rep for her and points to start gaining some dark abilities as well from Wyver but that's more of a longterm goal.

She had a son at a young age and gave him up for adoption, only for Henry to show up at her door on her 28th birthday and to tell her she was needed to break a curse. She was originally a reluctant hero, but has since become willing to open up to people and to fight for them. She's protective and caring, though a little rough around the edges, and always a mom (even with Henry still in stasis). Emma has magic and some decent combat skills, both from home and the help of the friends she's made here.

▶ Personality Blurb. Warm, gentle, and soft-hearted. Loyal to a fault, and perhaps a touch stubborn. He was a courtesan in his own world, due to a bad choice in his teens. He just wants to be loved really, and is just now getting used to having relationships not based on his being bought or rented. That history makes him tend to close himself off or hold himself back until he is sure he will be accepted, but encourage him to open up and you will have a supportive and nurturing friend.
▶ Desired CR. Linn is one of the characters who came off a pretty bad kidnapping/torture/hostage experience that has left some physical and emotional scars, so he is trying to take it slow. Having been pulled off the streets, he has grown a bit wary of wandering openly and generally goes nowhere without his miniature llama, Lula (ah, the mysteries of ACP eggs!). He is working on reaching out more to those he trusts, but with strangers he is back to being reserved and a bit more cautious than usual.
Up for relationships/romance (Linneus is gay as a maypole) but it will likely be a slow build. He will also want to be sure people don't object to his former... profession.

Obscurity is the better proposition at the moment.

▶ Personality Blurb. Vin is an orphaned child who grew up starving on the streets barely managing to scrape by before discovering she had magical powers and being recruited into a scheme to take down her world's immortal God-Emperor figure. Which she did after much hardship and scheming.

Vin's a pretty cynical and distant sort of person who really does not trust easily and keeps everyone at arm's length until she's properly scoped them out. Once past that she can be pretty friendly even if it's in a deadpan, paranoid weirdo kind of way. She's also fiercely protective and is determined to be a paranoid little nut in every way her friends don't seem to be. At her canonpoint she's still a little bit lost and working out the kind of person she wants to be, either a lethal assassin stalking the night or trying to eke out a more normal life with friends and loved ones.

▶ Desired CR. Vin needs friends. She's firmly in the murky, morally grey areas and could use both people who don't mind getting their hands dirty for a good cause and more moral folks to ground her and remind her that spilling blood isn't the answer to every problem.

Other than that she could use people to draw out and encourage her love for pretty things. Maybe even people to teach her about more modern/futuristic weapons or fighting styles and even magic. She'll likely be pretty keen to learn about things like that.

▶ Offered CR. Like I mentioned she's pretty good for offering the "grey morality" viewpoint on matters. In Vin's eyes there are evil people in the world and that sometimes the world really will be a better place if those people were simply not in it any longer. She also recognizes the ugliness of that work and accepts that she's the one to carry it out so better and kinder people than her can shape that better world. So she does great with people who share that viewpoint and people who she can butt heads over it with.

She's not all cold and merciless though. Become somebody she cares about and she'll do anything to keep you safe so if you want your character to have somebody to hover around them and watch their back and possibly drop out of the shadows to rescue then she can do that too. She can be particularly protective of people she sees as too naive, or too kind to take care of themselves.

She's also likely going to approach things in the noblewoman persona that she adopted during the rebellion mentioned up above so "fellow" noble types would be welcome too to force her to bluff her way through some courtly discussions or whatever and to eventually have her true identity come out.

▶ Rooming Plans. Hard to say and I'm open for suggestions. She'll probably be staying in the starting rooms for awhile until she secures somewhere else or even a safe house of her own. There are some loose plans but she'll try to seek out a base of operations in both nations so come at me.

▶ Game Plans. Vin is not going to be particularly eager to ingratiate herself to either nation, governments and empires aren't big on her list of trusted sources, so she's probably going to be doing a lot of Gilded Cage work.

There's also going to be some worry/guilt that her killing the Lord Ruler of her world lead to the Storm's coming because his final words to her were "By killing me you've doomed yourselves."

Basically I'm sort of intending for her to bounce back and forth between cities but use a different identity in each to cover her tracks. Vin, the urchin and thief in Wyver and Valette Renoux, the young minor noblewoman in Wyver. I'm also hoping to have her act as a masked vigilante/phantom thief in one or both cities, maybe under the guise of "Mistborn" if anybody needs a name to put to her. Either way, she'll be using disguises and her powers to cover her tracks and splitting her time in a dual life. Basically her goals are going to skew toward her own survival and supporting her close CR and the Refugees as a whole over either of the big government factions.

My REP focus is going to be on Natha REP and earning a full suite of Allomancy powers and, eventually, a friggin' mech cause she needs one dangit.

▶ Personality Blurb. Ozymandias is the spiritual manifestation of the historical figure Ramesses II. As such, he's an egocentric king that views himself as the bridge between the gods and mankind. He is proud of his accomplishments, and is rather arrogant about his abilities. At the same time, though, he loves his kingdom arguably more than anything else.
▶ Desired CR. Basically, I’m open to anything. Friends, acquaintances, animosity, people to do quests with, people to be ambitious with, people to party with, people to reminisce with, casual flings, etc. Also, people to bring him down from cloud nine and teach him a good lesson or two, but this is a very slow burn. God himself didn’t manage to be very successful at this, after all. People to at least teach him to be more human would be great, because just ordering people around clearly isn’t working very well.
▶ Offered CR. Ozymandias is a demigod with experience with magic, and lived during an era where magic took precedence over science. ▶ Offered CR. He will mingle well with civilians, know how to step in line with the more blue-blooded sorts, and he'll fight with words to those he find corrupt or cruel. He's not a violent man like others in his world, so it's got be extreme circumstances for him to bare his steel at your character, so to speak. Just don't expect him to mince his words.
