TELL US MORE: Vin was a starving street urchin who grew up in a majorly crapsack world running from thief gang to thief gang and barely surviving. Until she was discovered by a gang of rebels and learned that she's actually a Mistborn, basically a superpowered ninja assassin with a pretty nifty powerset gained by swallowing metals. She got recruited to pose as a low-ranking noblewoman in a big scheme to take down a tyrannical empire that's stood for a thousand years. It went okay.

ANYTHING ELSE? She's probably coming in after the first book so she's got plenty of paths still to take. Probably going to aim to keep up her facade as a wide-eyed young noble while skulking the rooftops doing the vigilante thing at night, keeping things balanced with a knife in the dark where necessary. Personality-wise she's twitchy and untrusting and questions everyone she meets at first. So she can come off kind of harsh but she's also a clingy little softie underneath it all if you can earn her trust. And if you do, congratulations, you just got a friend who will look out for you forever and can and will drop out of the sky at any moment you need her.

She also really likes pretty dresses and fancy parties, but don't tell anybody. It's a secret.

She's got a pretty cool sword.

TELL US MORE: Bev is a fashion designer from Chicagoland, with a wonderful husband and a modest dress-making business. Her childhood was a perfectly normal one, full of bullying, horrible family drama, and the machinations of a dark eldritch clown god terrorizing her hometown and her best friends. #justkidthings! She's all grown up now, and ready for round two. Jk no one is ever ready.

Besides all that, she's a sweet woman. Polite, if a little reserved, but she definitely warms up into a lively, laughing, loving lady if you're good to her. She's jumpy, but when the going gets tough, she's got Redhead Moxie(tm) and a fire in her eyes that can't be tamed.

TELL US MORE: Natasha Romanoff. Canon-point would most likely be end of TWS / pre-AoU, because reasons. She's a reformed Russian spy that went to work for the (American) good guys, only to recently find out that the good guys weren't so good after all. Deadly, pretty, deceptive, best spy in the world, likes big guns and spy tricks. Who she is can be a matter of circumstance and who you are to her. Give me all your soldier/spy CR, please and thanks. People that speak Russian, boys for her to step on, people that have been a bit too close to war, superhero types that can help her figure out where she is after the HYDRA mess.

POSSIBLY APPING: Black Widow, YA flavor

TELL US MORE: Ava Orlova. She's actually been in El Nysa before and would be keeping her memories. She knows Rumlow due to being a SHIELD prisoner for several years, and knows of most Marvel-verse characters that have made headlines, been popular around SHIELD, and/or that knew Natasha prior to TWS. She's actually getting moved back in canon a bit to pre-TWS, so she'd be coming in as a SHIELD agent, with a not-insignificant leadership focus. She acts older than she is, and has a Fucked Up Comics Backstory she doesn't tend to talk about. Can serve both as a mentor and a mentee. She has powers and would love to have her connect with people who could make her feel less like a freak about that.
