YOUR STORY BEGINS ![]() The Storm came. You only remember darkness, but you don't remember much after that. All you know, perhaps, is that it was cold as you slept. You don't know for how long you slept, but the dreams were short, at least. You remember the expanse of stars and the universe that came in view. Every world and solar system ever known was displayed in your dreams in careful, pristine detail. You have also witnessed The Storm, which has devoured a fair portion of these galaxies. It was a dark, thick smog; ominous in appearance and ever foreboding. Your Earth and similar planets were immersed in The Storm. Somehow, you knew it would be the last you'd see of it. That was when she told you what happened, and how you can help. You knew that you'll be living somewhere new, even though you never asked for it. The details here weren't clear, but you knew you'd made a deal with Darma. Not long after, you'll wake at Thesa Station — Your body is still cold. It was all a dream, but somehow, you knew it wasn't — now, will you keep that promise you made to Darma? PROMPT: THE MESS HALL ![]() It's fascinating to the Orbiters how such a dull room can be turned around so completely with people in it. All meals are served by Roman, and while all the food is delicious, some of it is a bit odd. Is that neon green soup? That’s hideous. If you happen to be in the mess hall at a particularly unlucky time, you and the food will suddenly begin to drift. Someone’s got jokes, and they’ve turned off the gravity control. Now it’s just you, your fellow refugees, and the floating sea of food. Wait, did that person just chuck a pie in your direction? PROMPT: TRAINING MODULES ![]() While it’s all nice and well to familiarize oneself with Thesa Station, it is most advised that new arrivals venture out a bit. Not physically. No one is quite prepared for that yet. However, there will be several virtual reality training programs set for those who dare to be adventurous. For those who aren’t and don’t dare, well— good luck, all the same. Be advised, however, that participating in one of the training modules will start you off favorably with the Natha Orbiters’ in terms of REPUTATION. Once seated and appropriately strapped in, the system will automatically whir to life and the dense foliage and forestry of a section of El Nysa will open up. According to one’s map registry, it clear to see that it’s miles from the outer gates of Olympia, but not as far enough to venture into any other territories. So, in that sense, you’re safe.
PROMPT: STASIS UNIT ![]() You have found the massive section of Thesa known as the Stasis Unit. There’s no special access required to access this part of Thesa Station, but refugees are warned that it may not be for the faint of heart. Here, in large pods that nearly cover every square inch of the space, are all of the people the Orbiters have managed to rescue. Your loved ones, your greatest enemy, your next door neighbor— you might find them here. These people are in a state of deep cryosleep. Due to the damaging effects of The Storm, their bodies are not yet ready to be awoken. PROMPT: HANGAR STATION ![]() You find your way to the hangar station. Here rests are a factory worth of docked mobile suits. You recall how the Orbiters had previously spoken of a "space frontier," but only after seeing this you realize how real their words are. Most machinery have marks of wear and tear, assurance that they have indeed been used before, and an assembly of others are going through repairs and maintenance. No one seems to care that you've just strolled in. In fact, there seems to be a couple of the aircraft that beckon you to take a closer look. Maybe you’ll only look on the outside, maybe you'll be greeted by the hand of a mobile suit extending toward you and welcoming you to its cockpit. You go out and explore SPACE!!! Unfortunately, that mobile suit should have warned you it only had 20 minutes of flight time left in its system. Or, perhaps, you’re a particularly ambitious pilot and you’ve strayed past the designated perimeter. Either way, the HUD display is now blinking with errors, cropping up with a single message: DISTRESS SIGNAL. PROMPT: OMAGE
Upon receiving your mobile phone, you will be asked to set a username. Voila, you can now access the network! You can choose to send a message to the entire network, specific usernames, or you can try out the Orbiters’ service, Omage, which connects you to a random user. They thought this might be a good way for their new guests to make friends with each other...

You are welcome to write any scenarios in Thesa Station! Characters have been granted temporary access to the Observation Room, and are encouraged to study it carefully.

Nakajima Atsushi | Bungou Stray Dogs
[Atsushi isn't picky when it comes to food - quite the opposite, in fact - but even he has to think twice before very hesitantly taking a bite of some undefinable neon-colored gunk. Once he does, though, he eats as if his life depends on it, his stomach woken up with a vengeance. Seeing the person opposite him have their doubts, too (or maybe they're just thinking he's insane for eating that...), he's quick to reassure them, barely bothering to swallow what's in his mouth first.]
It's actually pretty good!
> training modules .2
[Atsushi isn't as easy to capture as he might seem, yet here he is, captured all the same. Of course, it could be that he's actually been caught off guard and injured enough that he was captured - though, if so, he heals a lot faster than his enemies are probably expecting, so beware.
Perhaps more likely is that he's let himself be captured on purpose, to find the enemy base - and to let other people in, or to free previously captured allies. No matter how tied up he may be, when Atsushi transforms, only the heaviest of shackles stand a chance of holding him - and the fact that he can change into a white tiger version of Popeye (more or less) is an always-convenient element of surprise.]
> training modules .3
[He was just planning to do another training session. There was nothing strange about it: he'd done it before and been fine.
Yet here he is, a too-skinny 18-year-old... buck naked. And, worse (could it be worse?!): pixelated. Covering his privates - and, for some ungodly reason, only the lower part of his butt crack - is an ever-shifting cloud of pixels, and Atsushi can't decide whether he's glad that they're there, or too worried that they might shift and expose him to feel anything like relief. And of course he had to end up in here with someone else... One hand half-covering his already-censored self, the other waves frantically in front of him as if to keep the other person at a distance... or maybe to reassure them.]
I-It doesn't normally look like this!!
[... Yes, clearly people needed to be informed of that.]
> stasis unit
[He comes here often, when he needs or wants a moment to himself. Maybe that's ironic, with so many people everywhere in sight, but the quiet helps him think, and the familiar faces keep him focused. It's sad that his world was destroyed, sure, but... the people are what matters. If his work here counts as some kind of payment towards bringing them back - or even a debt of honor for saving them in the first place - then he will do everything he can for the Natha.
And so he keeps returning here, sitting in front of the pods that contain members of the Armed Detective Agency - and even a few others. When someone approaches, he looks up, offering them a smile... even if it's tinged with sadness, rather than anything strictly happy.]
It's a rather impressive sight, isn't it? Almost like a library of people.

Hello?
Am I doing this right?
[On second thought, his username looks kind of childish... Should he have gone with his real name after all?]

[ alisaie stands with her knuckles on one hip, free hand tapping small, slim fingers against the guard of her rapier. one brow arches high, and she sweeps an appraising eye down then up his figure, then heaves a slow, deep sigh.
with a shake of her head, she straightens, and averts her eyes skyward in belated politeness. ]
You're not going to do anyone much good, like that.
no subject
... Maybe this is the mission? Finding clothes, or "continuing in the face of adversity"... Something like that.
[He really is kind of useless like this, though, and he has no idea where (if anywhere) he might find clothes in a place like this. Should he transform and hope the tiger's fur covers him up...? Nononononono - the tiger is huge. He doesn't want to know what happens if he transforms... that area.]
Either way, I'm glad it's me and not you who ended up like this.
no subject
If it helps you to think that, certainly.
[ i mean, she's got a perfectly good set of clothes on after all, so the chances of this being a 'finding clothing' mission don't seem very high. more than like, some sort of.. error occurred, but technology isn't exactly her strong suit, so. too bad for you, pal.
alisaie simply shrugs, casting her eyes up and down the dusty path. there doesn't seem to be anyone around to lend a hand, and/or knock out and steal clothing from. ]
So, what are you going to do?
[ she's super helpful you're welcome ]
no subject
Maybe there are some trees with big leaves?
[Yeah, that's... the extent of his plan. How biblical. He shakes his head: how would he even keep a leaf in place?]
... I don't suppose you have anything I could borrow?
no subject
If I did, I'd have offered it already, I assure you.
[ because this isn't actually pleasant for her either, you know.
.. okay, his agony and humiliation are definitely pretty entertaining, that can't be denied. but hanging about on an old road with a naked stranger isn't necessarily something she'd do for fun, most especially if there are potential enemies about, simulated or no. there's also the fact that she's, like, 4'7 smol as fuck so nothing she's got would likely fit you my dude
but GOSH apparently she has to solve everything!! alisaie sighs, and passes a hand over her face, then squints around. ]
Looks like there's an abandoned wagon, just down the road.
[ she gestures. maybe there's spare clothes inside. probably not. but you could always make a pretty dress out of the canvas or something ]
no subject
He's not expecting a full outfit from her or anything - just something to cover his bits! That would be nice. Either way, his eyes light up as she points him at the wagon. If nothing else, he can hide there without exposing himself.]
I'll check it out!
[And off he goes, jogging over in a way that most resembles a drunken bunny. (Look, he's not going to transform just to save what's left of his decency! The wagon is close enough, anyway.)
Now to hope it's not a trap or anything.]
no subject
.. but he's weaponless, literally naked and defenseless as far as she can see, and godsdamnit she'd feel guilty if a bear came along and ate him. alisaie sighs heavily, world-weary, and shakes her head, then follows behind him at a leisurely pace.
so don't mind her, while she leans against the wagon, arms crossed, just casually hanging out. ]

Atsushi digs through the contents, which are... nearly non-existent. There's an old, worn piece of cloth that he can tie around his waist, though! Not exactly the height of fashion, but effective enough.
... The pixels remain, for some reason. But they're not nearly as disturbing (or even noticeable) now.
Shaking out the fabric, Atsushi notices a piece of paper flutter down, every bit as old and worn as the cloth. He picks it up, but... there doesn't seem to be anything written on there?]
Hmm, just a piece of paper...?

stasis
It's impressive that they might be saved.
[ that, if they aren't ready to wake up, that could change in the future.]
I can never seem to stay here for very long, though. It's too much.
no subject
Atsushi's eyes wander over the pods, a row of familiar faces. It's not complete, but then... that doesn't say anything, does it? This place is so big, he probably just hasn't found everyone yet.]
"Too much"... I suppose I can see that. But for me, not staying for a while feels worse. It's not as if I think my feelings will reach them [he doesn't explain who, but his eyes move over several of the pods in front of him] but... if I don't feel them at all, they're sure to miss.
[That, and he's a little too used to torturing himself, when others aren't doing it for him. It simply doesn't occur to him to spare himself the pain.]
Have you found anyone important to you?
no subject
[ whether it's guilt or sadness or something else, he's entitled to his emotions. Tinker Bell doesn't want to dwell in this space when she feels like she could be accomplishing something elsewhere, but even that is a reflection on the friends who are still sleeping. when she was lost, they helped her to rediscover the fairy within. she can't give that up now, as tempting as it might be to let her loneliness get the better of her. from what she's seen, she's the only one from her world who is currently awake.]
I've found a few people, mostly friends.
[ friends and fairy sisters, but she's yet to explain that part of her life to anyone. she thinks it might complicate things to discuss what she is (when she knows fairies are rare in other worlds). given a little time, she might say more. for now, what's important are the people here, not her.]
I assume you've found some of your loved ones?

training modules 3
I didn't ask! [Why doesn't she have anything to throw at him??] I-Idiot! Pervert! Kitten!
[....says the one stuck in this, muffling her voice and perhaps distorting it. Still, this unfortunate glitch wasn't his fault; it just feels better to act otherwise, to try and hide her flustered embarrassment under a prickly layer of anger and indignation. After all, dealing with your emotions in a straightforward and healthy manner was for
peonsother people.]LOUD SCREAMING ohlook it's my favorite chapter revisited, sorta kinda
[Calling him an idiot is fine. Calling him a pervert is enough to make even him feel a little uncomfortable, though denying it outright... still feels too rude, so he doesn't do it just yet. (Besides, what if this is his fault somehow?! He's not aware of having done anything wrong, but he's still the naked one here.)
And then he finally calms down enough to pay more attention to his training partner.]
... Actually, why are you dressed like that?
[It may be more decent, but it's no less showy than his outfit... or lack thereof.]
i'd say i'm sorry but lying is a sin
[She's gone from covering the eyeholes of her headpiece to fisting both hands in the fake fur and pulling, straining hard to pop it free. Spoilers: it's stuck.]
Dammit!.....
by all means remain pure plz
