[Sounds of water aren't a surprise, but Nott certainly isn't used to the sound of water running through pipes. There's a distinctive hiss of the faucet that almost sounds like a monster, even with the sound of the water splashing against the sink along with it that should indicate what it means.]

[She stirs, watching Caleb exit the bathroom and then bring his dirtied shoes and socks back into it. Okay, it's probably not a monster. She can at least put that together in her current state of confusion.
