Bucky's got memories of calmly facing down some pretty frightening things. That wasn't him, though. He can face his fears, but that had been about having no fear at all. That's not who Bucky is and this is definitely frightening. He treats the simulation like it's real because when it is real, there will be no do-overs.

He clings, but it's his metal arm doing most of the work as the tree shakes under him. He focuses on hanging on, because if the tree goes down, there's not much he'll be able to do about it. All he can do is hope that when the first impact doesn't fell it that the rest of the snow won't finish the job.

Soon enough, the rumbling slows and the shaking is merely the tree righting itself after taking such a beating.

"Still there?" He tries to sound calmer than he feels.
