Bucky really is surprised that they're running so quickly, but he doesn't let it trip him up. Very few people can do that, though, and it's something Bucky will remember for later. His own balance and reflexes can easily handle the crunch of snow without missing a step and he doesn't slow until he sees that they're pausing at the trees.

If it does come this way, maybe they won't be able to outrun it, but he thinks they might be able to climb up one of the thicker trees and hope that its roots are strong.

In fact, with a quick nod, he keeps an eye on the moving snow in the distance and he starts to test one of the thicker trees. It's hard to really tell, even with his enhanced strength, but it's not flimsy.

"What are the odds that we can survive this up a tree?"
