No, this guy hasn't yet made it clear that he's got combat experience, but 76 knows one when he sees one, and most people in civilian life aren't going to lose an arm either. He sees it as a safe assumption, and it's not like the stranger corrects him on it.

The visibility is still horrendous, but 76 looks in the direction that the man points, and his visor is able to zoom in and pick out the shape of the rocks and how they might direct the snow.

"Agreed," he says after a pause. A few seconds after that, the avalanche starts, with the flow of cascading snow starting much further up the mountain, but it's gaining speed and intensity as gravity does its work.

"Let's move," he barks, as he races off to the right, away from where they've predicted the snow will travel.
