[Ren apparently isn't fussed enough about Mikaela's intent to turn down going first, though it may in part be because he can well see that he's not going to start anything in the stasis units. He wouldn't be surprised if it was some kind of unspoken rule, honestly, with the kind of retaliation one could draw from daring to risk the lives of any of the sleeping.
As soon as he steps out into the outside corridor, though, he stops, looking from left to right and tapping his chin thoughtfully.
