Heero levels Duo with a flat look. This must be something like how Duo felt when he'd offered his help when they first met and Heero had bullishly refused it. He is about to say whatever and nevermind, but he stops just short of doing so, reminding himself that Duo is the only person he knows on this godforsaken alien space station and burning that bridge is not in his best interest.

Not that there is much left in the universe that could burn their bridge. They've been through too much together for that. So Heero perseveres, pointing out evenly, "If I were going to steal your parts, it would be while you were asleep. Not standing right here watching me."

Heero's lips press together when Duo reminds him about that... inconvenience with the Natha suits. "I saw that," he says, grim, but leaves it at that. Duo doesn't need to know that Heero was definitely thinking of hijacking 'Scythe if needed, as soon as he saw it.
