[ She's trying not to think about how jarring all of it is — the fact that no one else seems to remember that she was here before, the fact that Yusuke is the only one who remembers. She's not sure if she wants to ask why, and it's easier to just pretend she's new like everyone else — not that it matters, much, because she's not about to talk to a stranger about any of this. So much has changed, and she figures out on her own that it's been close to a year.
A year in cryo. She's almost sad that she missed out on how all of it happened, but she's almost unsettled by the fact that time ... passed right by her.
So, she does what any teenager of her prowess would to distract herself. Inari, for as stupid as he can be, isn't totally useless when she needs a co-pilot. Hopefully. If nothing else, he'll be good as a body to warm the seat while she tries out these super rad mecha.
( Or not. ) ] It's not broken, stupid. [ She rolls her eyes, plopping down on the seat ( it takes a minute before she's gotten the seat adjusted so that she can reach all the controls ). ] It needs both of us sitting.
[ And with that, she pushes a button — and the mecha whirs to life. ] See?
