He seems like he cares, at least, and so far her run ins with people around the station have been largely positive, and no one's meant any harm ( but habits are hard to break, and she can't help but wonder what if ). It'd be polite, if nothing else, to at least let him know that she's ... fine. As fine as she can be despite having had her life flash before her eyes. ]
