[New refugee awakening time means the stasis unit is buzzing with activity, as per usual. Kagari normally prefers to go up there only when there's little risk of getting discovered being vulnerable in front of the pods of his friends, but even he's not immune to sentiment; as soon as he realizes people are waking up again, he makes a beeline for the stasis unit, toward the set of six pods he most wants to see some change in.
He was not anticipating, of course, to find his path blocked by someone on the ground weeping. Shit.
Kagari's not the sort of person who really knows who to comfort someone in distress like this. It's not so much that he doesn't care, or that it doesn't bother him, but unlike the softer-hearted people he's known like Akane (and here, Valjean and Linneus), he doesn't feel the same urge to try to fix it or even really anything beyond discomfort and the sense that he's intruding on something he shouldn't. His instinct is to turn around and walk away -- he didn't see anything, he didn't hear anything, nothing happened here that anyone needs to feel embarrassed about -- except the fact that she'd probably hear his shoes clanking on the floor and he'd be busted anyway.
Except, he can't just stand there and watch her cry...instead, he just sort of turns and stares Very Intently at this other pod right here. His very dear friend, uhhh .... hell, why the fuck aren't there nametags on these?
Whatever. It's fine, right? It's fine. It's not like one or the other of them will HAVE to move eventually and then it will definitely be awkward, right? It's super definitely completely fine.]
