[ the malfunctions don't make the first bit of logical sense, and because of that, connor is having.. difficulty. he might, were he a little more well-versed in his own emotional growth, even call it frustration. he can't map the station properly like this, and being a relatively polite person, he really doesn't like the fact that he keeps barging in on people by accident.

which.. seems to have happened once more. he pauses in the doorway, the LED on his temple flickering yellow, then red as he frowns. ]

I apologize. I was trying to find the stasis units. [ he turns to open the door again, then.. pauses, frown deepening as it chooses not to budge. ] .. I think the door might be locked.

[ connor has evidently found the slimes to be fascinating, if the constant yellow flicker of his LED is any indication. he's crouched by one that appears to be burbling happily to him, staring down at it. but then, unexpected, he reaches out, swiping two fingers against its sticky surface.

there's a moment in which he rubs the residue between fingers and thumb curiously, staring down at it.. before sticking his index finger to his tongue.
