"Hmph. Strange, you look human enough," but he knew for quite some time now how deceiving looks could be. He simply expected that there would be far more physical variations between people from other worlds. You know, like that lizard guy walking through the mess hall over yonder.

He had heard of old ancient western religions that had done such things, and even Hinduism which provided similar characteristics.
