Hello folks this is John Sheppard and he is like a nerdy, awkward, off-brand captain kirk who tells pop culture jokes nobody gets. His hobbies include flying spaceships, arguing when he should have given up, suppressing emotions and being a big damn hero.

He also likes racing things and inappropriate flirting.

His canon is Stargate: Atlantis so he knows about space and aliens and PR problems! He will be joining you from Season 5.

Meanwhile, my name is Jack. My hobbies include complaining about my job, World of Warcraft and D&D 5e. I work on London time, and you can catch me by PM most easily since I work long hours. I prefer not to mass add everyone on Plurk because then I don't know who everyone is and can barely see my timeline, but if we end up with regular CR and you'd like to chat just ask and I'll shoot it over!

My name is Emily and I'm brand spankin' new to this game, slamming into you all with a nosy investigative journalist from the DC Universe. Lois Lane is coming in from the end of "Man of Steel" after welcoming Clark to the Daily Planet. I'm super excited to get her involved and probably get her in trouble within her first two months if I do this right. I would very much like to get her worked into whatever established news network there might be, or if there isn't one, she would 100% help it get off the ground. I'll save more details on that for the cr/plotting meme since I've got a long term goal for it.

Hi all, this is Elizabeth of York and she is a former Queen of England, seeing that England is gone now. All of this is going to be a shock to her, even though the Natha gives them the low down. She's an untrained mage, having had no interest in it before, this might change over time, now that there's no political chaos to worry about.

She's a friendly, sweet person, especially if you're not a rival house and didn't kill her family.

Lizzie is from the White Princess, pulled from Ep. 3 "Burgundy". She's grown more fond of her husband, especially after they opened up. So there will be less bitterness about her situation and him in general. Now she can focus on what matters, keeping her family safe.

yeah no, anyway, this is poe (edgar allan) from altered carbon, that sleek netflix series that isn't anything like the books really at all. poe is indeed a hotel, technically - he's an AI that inhabits/controls a futuristic hotel, as well as its probably-all-nanites charming avatar/host. he's like 100 years old but doesn't have much concept of age, being an .exe, and really loves people just as a whole concept. please be his friend and stop him from telling the locals he's a hotel/program/too scifi for this fantasypunk world. he also likes good liquor and guns. and. ravens. have i made the edgarallanpoekin thing clear enough, yet.

hi! i was here a while back, but i finally have some free time to squeeze myself into this game again! my name is lynne, and i've brought back zero from drakengard 3! i can get into more of the meat of cr with her at the cr/plotting meme, but basically she's a foul-mouthed, crude 19-year-old with a flower blooming out from her right eye, whose purpose was to kill her all five of her "siblings." she also has an insatiable sexual appetite and has no problems maintaining multiple sexual relationships at once... it's wild

Hi! I'm Devi, and I play Ser Davos Seaworth. You might recognize him from the show Game of Thrones, but don't be confused! He's from the book series, like our local salt king Stannis Baratheon and overall salty boy Theon Greyjoy.

Davos is one of the nicer characters in the series, and he's honest to a fault. He has his own doubts, but nothing too extreme. He was a smuggler, but now he's a loyal follower to the True King of Westeros. Three guesses who that is.

Awkwardly adjusts tie and clears throat HELLO this is Teresa and I am bringing to you none other than Ianto Jones of Torchwood (Whoniverse) fame.

Who is Ianto, you ask? (And how do you pronounce his name?) Well it's "Yan-toh" and he is the archivist/receptionist/tea boy/you name it really for a top secret organization that defends the Earth against alien threat and happens to be based in Cardiff Bay in Wales. He's snarky, awkward, and a bit melancholy at times -- he's had a hard life, okay. He makes a damn good coffee, though.

For those that know Torchwood, he's coming in from in between Series 1 and 2, so that he's gained more of a footing underneath him as far as Torchwood and his position there is concerned (but nothing terrible has happened to anyone he knows yet...)

Hi everyone! This is Kalyn, player of one Fish Princess Mipha (fisherwife) bringing in a second character!

This is Diamond from Houseki no Kuni, or 'Land of the Lustrous.' They're an inorganic being made entirely of, you guessed it, diamond! They're one of like 30 gems living in what's probably (??) post-apocalyptic earth where there are no more humans and everything is a minor existential crisis on the value and worth of living when you can never die.

Anyway, Dia is super friendly and curious rock filled with self-worth issues and a not-so-secret drive to get out from under their partner's shadow despite the fact that, by their very nature, Dia is really kind of incapable of change. So they're actually going to be pretty happy/excited about this whole change and the fact that everyone's still asleep except them. I mean like, they'll be sad too but the others will be fine nbd.

As you can see, they're very sparkly and despite being probably like 400lbs or so very agile and a quick, competent fighter despite their looks. (The anime's super pretty okay i will throw gifs around wherever I can)

Which speaking of looks, the gems have no concept of gender or anything like that really, so while I'll try to use they/them as much as possible (i slip and use she/her sometimes tho bear w/me), neither I OOCly nor Dia ICly care what pronouns you/your characters use. Please feel free to use whatever you want to refer to Dia.

Also also Dia is actually from the latest chapter of the manga, but I'll keep spoilers down as much as possible! Just lemme know if you care about spoilers or not tho.
