Cayde's been spending a lot of time in here lately. Not that he, you know, misses his friends and his fireteam and Eris, but they're pretty much the only familiar thing he has. After everything over the last six months, journaling just doesn't cut it. He's standing in front of one today, a big, blue guy if anyone cares to look. In white and red armor, looking like he could just wake up and go to fight straight away.

Man, he misses that guy.

He's telling some story or other, if Ianto cares to listen he'll probably catch Cayde mid-talk, totally conversational as he goes, "--like that Hive situation on Mars, you remember that? That Boomer nailed Ikora and she took out the whole lot of 'em when she rezzed?" Cayde laughs and mumbles "classic," under his breath, "I swear, I'd take that over this place."

Well, "maybe except Ikora's wrath."

It goes on like that for a while, recounting some mission taking out this Hive cell. Lots of explosions, arguments, at least one instance of Cayde saving the day with his outstanding shooting skills.
