[The Exhibition Hall is a curious place, and Kogarasumaru can't be entirely certain if it's always like this or if it was set up as a welcoming of sorts. It certainly felt like the latter, but... well. He's just woken up, and while he might be carrying himself with the confidence of one who has been here for a very long time, he's also investigating the brochures and displays with the sort of curiosity that betrays his relative newness.
The fact that his 'goodie bag' was very obviously holding just about every freebie he'd been offered thus far didn't help his case, either.
Sooner or later, though, he'll have consumed just about all the information he can get his hands on alone in either given space, leaving him to turn to the first available person (you), whether they're at all familiar with the goings-on or not.]
Just when this old sword was beginning to think there was nothing new to experience in life, here I am. Tell me, do you have any experiences you can share with me? It seems as though they will require a choice to be made...
II - Naptime for Children
[The warnings about the stasis units did little to deter. If what all he'd been told was to be believed, Kogarasumaru needed to see his dear children - and, perhaps, his Saniwa - for himself. And there they all were, safe as could be expected in their pods. The chill of the room and of the units themselves explained neatly why he'd been so much colder than usual upon awakening, but that mattered very little in the grand scheme of things. He was too busy stepping lightly from pod to pod, keeping track of faces he knows, counting each one as he comes to them (and, depending on when he may be interrupted, the number could well be rather high). Strangely enough, there's no empty pod where he once was, but considering he's the only one missing from the citadel's residents, and he knows very well that he's present and accounted for thank you very much, it doesn't register as much of a concern.
No, all it tells him is that he'll need to keep a close eye out for any of his dear children that might arrive. It wouldn't do to have them also come here to count pods, only to find one - or more - missing. That was a sort of stress he wouldn't even wish on his worst enemy.
(Curiously, there were no representations of the Retrograding Army in the pods, but then of course there weren't. It wouldn't do to have them awakening and trying to change the history of this world, too, for better or worse. It felt as though there was enough going on without them.)
But in such a large room, one can never truly be alone for long, and such is the case now. Whether he's caught coming or going or counting, he will be sure to greet anyone - awake - that he comes across, whether they're also coming or going or, even, staring into the face of a loved one. He knows his steps are quiet, and it's better to greet than it is to startle.]
This place is certainly something, isn't it? Is there anyone in particular you're here to see?
