A goddess who wants no honor done unto her? Yet who works such wondrous acts? How strange this seems to me...

All my years I have revered the gods as any civilized man must. He must make sacrifice to Poseidon if he wishes for safe passage across the wine-dark sea, or to Demeter if he wishes for his crops to grow in the spring when the mother's lament ends. Such is the way between deathless gods and mortal men.
