[ when roman offers up gloves and gas masks, lara accepts and stores them in her rucksack, if only because they're likely to be useful at a later date. her creature feature ends up being of a different breed, however. over the din of flora and fauna renders darting out, she hears a clear, distinctly familiar voice. hello sprout, it calls out. I knew I could trust you to solve my puzzle. to a stranger, it could belong to any english gentleman, if an undoubtedly posh one. lara stills for a moment before turning slowly toward the sound.
she lifts an arrow from her quiver and glances around, catching the eye of someone nearby. ]
Did you hear that?
b. [ a sepht flashes through an empty hall of the station, a blur of bright wings and vibrant fur until it lands on a closed door. once perched there, an emerald piece of jewelry glints in the artificial light.
lara rounds the corner, braid whipping behind her, just in time for someone else to open the door ahead and frighten the sepht, sending it fluttering through the entryway to the loo. ]
