[ 76 had thought the dragons he'd seen with his own eyes, touched with his own hands, had been the extent of it. Sure, he'd seen some of the bones that the Wyver people revered, bones that implied that at one point the creatures had been much larger, but it's one thing to see a skeleton and another thing to see this.

It's a simulation, but it gives them an idea of what things had been like centuries ago, and in that sense this is a useful sort of exercise. When you're in the thick of it like this, though, it feels real. Even with the visor covering his face, he can smell the smoke rising up from the burnt land; he can feel the lick of flames at the back of his neck.

He has no idea if this stranger is part of the simulation, or if he's a participant. He doesn't seem to fit the rest of the scene, so 76 is betting on the latter. Whether he realizes that this is all fake is unclear, but there isn't time to explain right now. Even though it is fake, the pain they'll feel if they're caught in that dragon's path would seem real enough. Better to avoid it, if possible.

Ana doesn't hesitate to take charge in this situation, even lending the other man her sidearm. Those sleep darts are nothing to sneeze at, and 76 is quietly relieved that they're not wasting real ammo. He shifts his pulse rifle in his arms and then stands from a crouch, ready to leap into action. ]
Works for me.

[ Without waiting for any further confirmation, he springs out of cover, aiming a spray of shots at the dragon to grab its attention. Its roar shakes the ground once more, and then 76 breaks into a sprint. He's pretty good at outrunning things, and it should give the other two an opening.

(Well. One of them might have a death wish.) ]
