He's certainly much stronger than he appears, disproportionate to his size.
He does at least let him down after being sure he's landed safely. How Reinhardt curled to protect his treasure doesn't pass him by either and his lips curl with another smile, approving, in response to Reinhardt's own open gratitude and excitement. Its job done, the hammer dissolves in a shimmer of golden sparkles -- in fact all of the weapons poking out of the dragon's body are disappearing in the same way, as if they're being returned to his treasury. ]
