[In another life, Riley would have panicked. The person she is now simply stares and rests her hand on a part of her hip that usually has a knife strapped to it. She was shot in the head once and sadly that was only the start of many instances of getting hit in the head. She hallucinates. It takes some time for her to work out that this man probably didn't appear in a story she read to Carly and therefore can't be coming from her head. All hallucinations are rooted in reality. She doesn't imagine purple demons.
