[ a little longer than that, actually, but she does turn right around to head back the way she came. all of this is pretty nuts - overwhelming to say the least - but a little less so now that she knows Peter's here. that she's not alone in this big crowd of people who showed up with her. the news about her world, the Storm, it doesn't seem real. none of this seems real. but meeting up with Peter, that's a start to feeling a little less helpless.
it takes her about ten minutes to get there, and then there's a bit of searching along the windows of the mess hall, but there he is. she doesn't rush over, but she doesn't exactly take her time either. she's glad to see him. really glad.
the kind of glad that has her moving in for a tight hug before she even says "hi".
